“It was nice to play with some good players last year, finally.” - Henrik Sedin taking a shot at his brother Daniel Sedin after playing on separate teams during last year’s All Star Game

With the NHL allstar game this sunday, and the fantasy draft tonight, my key question is who is going to be drafted last. We all know that it wont be an Ottawa Senator, Toronto Maple Leaf, Boston Bruin, or New York Ranger, so my question to you is, who do you think will be drafted last
Personally I believe either Jamie Benn, or Logan Couture will be drafted last in tonight draft. Both of these individuals are quite young, and even though they are deserving of an allstar knod, they may have to pay there due’s and take ” One For the Team “. My moneys on Jamie Benn getting drafted last, however… the draft is unpredictable, and only time will tell
With the Trade Deadline being a month away its that time of year again to start thinking about who your favorite team should go after, and what your team needs. At the beggining of January, I would have said the Canucks needed some more scoring depth/ a bigger 3rd,4th line player. However, after watching the team go 3-2-1 in the 6 game span after the Showdown in Beantown, I believe the Canucks need to target a top 4 dman at the deadline
With Sami Salo out with a concussion the team only had 1 regulation win in the 6 game span, aswell some players looked lost on the defencive side of the puck. Also, the powerplay struggled as Alex Burrows was slotted into the top powerplay unit in Sami’s absense. Last year, the Canucks had the depth on the D that when Sami went down, they could move Ehrhoff into his spot, but now is not the case.
If the Canucks do in fact want to make a run for Lord Stanley again this year, they will need more depth on defence..if not, fans shouldnt be suprised when the Canucks are eliminated from the playoffs in May
Canucks win it 3-2 in the shootout!! Cody Hodgson scores the Shootout Winner, Roberto Luongo stops 4/5 in the shootout, and the Canucks move to 30-15-4, and 3 points back of the Detroit Red wings for First in the West.
Here Comes the Shootout!!!! #HereWeGoBoys
